Lorraine Caffery is an award-winning writer/director born, raised, and based in New Orleans, Louisiana.
True to her Southern roots, Lorraine likes her tales tall, fantastical and usually bloody. Her films have screened worldwide at festivals such as Fantasia Film Festival, Overlook Film Festival, Filmquest, Final Girls Berlin, Shriekfest, New Orleans Film Festival, Oxford Film Festival, and more. Her short film, The Rougarou, can be found on Alter, a horror destination with over 30,000,000 engaged subscribers across all platforms. When she is not making her own films, she is programming and writing about them at Short of the Week.
Lorraine is currently in post-production on her next short, DOORS, and developing her feature directorial debut, HUNGER.
